- Symbolic math software for scalable e-learning and e-assessment
- Pilot the EdTech tool Möbius for high quality, personalised feedback in mathematics to support student motivation and learning.

- Plot Twist: Playfully strengthening graph literacy and conceptual understanding via card games
- Develop and implement an activating, card-based game to support students' conceptual understanding of graphs.

- Fraud detection via edit history
- Further develop and pilot a prototype tool for fraud prevention in ANS. The tool detects differences between copy-pasted (e.g. from gen-AI tools) and typed answers by analysing intermediate versions of an answer.

- Honors Academy competence tree
- Explore if it is possible to develop competence trees for all tracks in the Honors BSc track, based on existing materials and using AI, to makes students' learning gaines explicit.

- AI grader for mathematical assessment
- Testing a commercial tool (Mathgrader) for assessment of multiple choice and open (handwritten) questions in mathematics assessments

- CARE-AI: Context-Aware, pedagogically Responsible, and Evidence-based AI coaches for large courses
- Develop AI study coaches with a dual objective : (1) to support students' progress on a task, and (2) to strenghten their self-regulation skills (i.e. metacognitive or motivational regulation)

- The curriculum compas
- Develop a two-layer student-facing curriculum compass: Layer 1 is on the course level and visualises how courses relate (e.g. prerequisites, learning goals, instructors, place in program), and Layer 2 is on the topic (course content) level to explore if this has added value to Layer 1.
